Thank you for your interest in Family TIES of Nevada.
Since 2001, Family TIES of Nevada, Inc. has offered information, referrals, education and parent-to-parent support at no cost to families of children with special health care needs and individuals with disabilities in Nevada.
This is what you can make happen with a grant of $1,000 to $10,000.
As of March 2011, our current funding priorities are:
- Funding for the Family-to-Family Health Information Center to access basic health and human resources, and be informed on key issues - delivered through face-to-face workshops, web-based training center, topical calls, a toll-free parent support information/referral line, and an on-line Resource Directory.

Funding for the Parent-to-Parent Peer Mentor Program which offers parents/caregivers the training and opportunity to connect one-to-one with a parent/caregiver of an individual with the same or similar disability or special health care need.
- Funding for capacity building activities to help sustain core services for children with special health care needs and individuals with disabilities.
