00.00.00 What did the Nevada Partners in Policymaking training do for you?
After I took the training, I felt much more confident that I could work effectively with my school district to support my son\'s education. Shortly after I graduated, I disputed my son\'s kindergarten placement. Partners helped me understand my son\'s rights, gave me new tools to advocate for what he was entitled to, and showed me how to deal with conflict. I requested mediation to settle the dispute. Before Partners, I didn\'t understand how the system worked. It would have been very difficult to resolve our differences.
